  • 深入理解重要概念;
  • 探索具本地和全球意义的知识;
  • 掌握并实践一系列基本技能;
  • 培养对学习、环境及其他方面的积极态度;

Primary Years Programme (G1-5)

Shenzhen Foreign Languages Greater Bay Area Academy is an authorized IB PYP school, the curriculum dedicated to providing high quality and challenging international education, which we believe is important for our students.

The curriculum standards for language, mathematics, science, art, personal, social and physical education in our school come from North America and China.

The year of primary school programme provides a framework for learning at Shenzhen Foreign Languages Greater Bay Area Academy, providing an interdisciplinary approach that combines disciplines into a coherent whole while retaining the essence of each discipline. SGA provides a strict continuum for students in the whole learning process.

At the core of SGA learning and PYP philosophy is the commitment to using inquiry as a learning tool. Our teachers guide students through a series of basic questions when designing exploration and learning curriculum units. Throughout the learning unit, each student will: deepen understanding of important concepts, research knowledge of local and global significance, acquire and practice a series of basic skills, develop a positive attitude towards learning, the environment and others, and have the opportunity to participate in responsible action and social services
