End of Semester Ceremony
6月21日上午， 深圳外国语学校（集团）湾区学校举行了2022-2023学年第二学期的期末颁奖典礼。全体学生、家长和教职工在欢快而温馨的气氛中，总结过去，展望未来，为本学期忙碌而充实的校园生活画上完美句号。
On June 21, 2023, Shenzhen Foreign Languages GBA Academy held the End of Semester Ceremony for the second semester of the 2022-2023 academic year at our Grand Theater. Teachers, students, parents, and staff members reflected on the past few months, marking a perfect conclusion to a busy and enriching semester.

Memories
散学典礼开始前，深外湾区学校执行校长刘佳、小学部校长Mr. Elmer Reyes和中学部校长Dr. Joseph Strzempka，分别为小学部和中学部的家长们介绍了湾区学校在过去一学期中所取得的进步和学术成果。
Before the End of Semester Ceremony, our School Director, Ms. Luka Liu, Head of Primary, Mr. Elmer Reyes, and Head of Secondary, Dr. Joseph Strzempka shared the progress and academic accomplishments of SGA during the past semester with the parents.
在庄严肃穆的国歌声中，学期末颁奖典礼拉开帷幕。
The ceremony began with the resounding national anthem.
学生交响乐团带来开场音乐演出，悠扬动人的旋律回荡在剧场中，展现着湾区学子的才情和艺术风貌。彩带飘舞，身姿腾挪，学校艺术体操队高水平的精彩表演也收获了阵阵掌声和欢呼。
我校管乐团成立于2019年2月，2021年首次参加“深圳管乐艺术节暨第23届深圳市校际管乐节”赛事，就喜获年度示范乐团金奖称号。2022年弦乐团成立，学校交响乐团也随之正式成立。今年4月，在深圳市教育局和深圳交响乐团举办的“高雅艺术进校园”活动中，我校学生交响乐团也成为了首个与深圳交响乐团合奏的学生交响乐团。我校的艺术体操队也同样硕果累累，成立于2020年12月，时间虽短，但在成立不到一年的时间里，就在2021年广东省青少年艺术体操锦标赛上斩获了两项全省特等奖。
Our student symphony orchestra started the ceremony with their enchanting music performance. The rhythmic gymnastics team put on an amazing show that earned them applause and cheers from the audience.
深外湾区学校学术校长Mr. Tom Kline为散学典礼致开幕辞，与大家一同回顾了本学期的难忘瞬间，并祝愿大家度过一个愉快、充实的假期。
Mr. Tom Kline, our Head of School, delivered the opening speech. He reflected on the memorable moments of this semester and wished everyone a pleasant and fulfilling holiday.
而更多丰富多彩、令人怀念的时刻则浓缩在了学期回顾视频当中。春季嘉年华、学习成果展、科技节、读书月、十年级个人项目展、小学毕业展、艺术节、DP授权考察、毕业典礼......回望这意义非凡的一学期，我们看到湾区学校的每一分子，都展现出了探索、求知、拼搏、进步的面貌。
There were more exciting and memorable moments captured in the semester review video. From Spring Carnival, Learning Celebration, STEAM Month, Book Month, G10 Personal Projects, PYPX, Arts Festival, to Graduation Ceremony... Looking back, we saw every community member of SGA showcasing their progress during this term.
过去一学期，深外湾区学校在市教育局的领导下，紧跟深外（集团）全面推动“课堂革命”的年度目标，落实立德树人根本任务，抓住粤港澳大湾区建设和中国特色社会主义先行示范区建设的历史性发展机遇，秉承“爱国·求知”校训，积极探索多元融合学校发展，推进融合课程体系建设，在培养具有中国情怀及国际视野的创新型人才之路上稳步前行。
德育整体建构与创新项目研讨会、IB世界学校华南联盟研讨会在我校顺利召开，专家代表围绕教育教学进行积极融合探索；
IB-DP授权考察访问顺利结束，我校已完成了DP授权申请的全部流程，MYP首届毕业生也即将在下一学年开启他们DP阶段大学预科课程的旅程；
袋鼠数学思维竞赛、驯鹿数学思维竞赛、国际象棋比赛等各类学科、文体大赛捷报频传、屡创佳绩；
湾区学校学生交响乐团成为首个与深圳交响乐团合奏的学生交响乐团，美育成果累累；
学习成果展、三方会谈、学生主导会议、毕业展、家长沙龙......家校携手，共育成长。
In this semester, with the guidance of Shenzhen Municipal government and under the management of Shenzhen Foreign Languages School (SFLS), SGA has taken on the crucial task of moral development and character cultivation, as well as fully utilized the advantages of the Greater Bay Area.
Aligned with SFLS’s motto of “Love Our Country and Seek Knowledge”, SGA has explored a diverse educational approach, pursuing truth, practicality, and a spirit of innovation. Throughout this semester, we have successfully accomplished a wide range of educational and teaching objectives, yielding impressive academic outcomes, promoting artistic education, and fostering collaboration between parents and the school.

辛勤耕耘，换来丰硕成果，努力拼搏，终有收获喜悦。外方学术校长Mr. Tom Kline和总务主任杨伟君首先为校国旗仪仗队颁发奖状，肯定了他们的出色表现。
勤奋学习的同学们也迎来了属于他们的荣誉时刻。小学部校长Mr. Elmer Reyes和中学部校长Dr. Joseph Strzempka分别宣布了本学期小学学习者目标奖、中学学术奖、中学学习方法奖的获奖名单。外方学术校长Mr. Tom Kline和总务主任杨伟君为获得学术奖的同学们颁发了奖状。
希望同学们都能将荣誉化为动力，自强不息、励志笃行。获奖的同学要戒骄戒躁，向着更高、更远的目标迈进；其他同学也要勉励自己，继续向着自己定下的目标努力。
The diligent students who have worked hard this semester had their moment of honor. We first presented awards to the National Flag Honor Guard. Then our Head of Primary, Mr. Elmer Reyes announced the PYP Learner Profile Awards. Our Head of Secondary, Dr. Joseph Strzempka announced MYP Academic Awards and MYP Approaches to Learning Awards. Our Head of School, Mr. Tom Kline and Deputy School Director of Operation Viking Yang presented certificates to these students.
