SGA科技节全息报告

告别三月，为期一个月的SGA科技节落下了帷幕。在这场属于科学、技术、工程、艺术和数学的盛宴里，我们见证了湾区学子闪耀的科创之光。湾区学子们深入探索了STEAM领域的交汇之美，积极参与，认真思考，挑战自我，拓展视野，尽情展现才华。

工程挑战、设计比赛、航空航天中心开幕、Pi Day、课外研学、STEAM谜题挑战，以及为期三天的STEAM主题ASA展示......现在，让我们一起回顾一下同学们在科技节活动中的精彩表现吧。

During STEAM Month, our SGA students were an integral part of the activities and played a significant role in making the event a success. Their active participation and dedication to learning about different STEAM fields were truly commendable. Let's take a moment to recognize some of the SGA students who stood out during STEAM Month.

SGA科技节航空航天中心开幕

Aerospace opening

火箭模拟发射、AR模拟登月舱、VR模拟舰载机驾驶、细节丰富的航天器模型.....我校的航空航天教育中心位于中学部二楼的开放空间（E2-2F），旨在为青少年搭建一个航空航天主题的学习平台，开拓航空航天科技视野、普及航空航天主题教育、激发学生的学习热情、弘扬爱国主义精神，引领学生了解航空航天、走进航空航天、体验航空航天。

作为科技节活动的重头戏和开幕活动，学校邀请专家驻场，在三月初举办了为期三天的航空航天技术展。同学们在虚拟现实的世界中自由翱翔，一同享受这场华丽的科技盛宴，在体验中学到更多关于航空航天科技的知识，也深入了解了中国在航空航天领域取得的辉煌成就。

Our Aerospace Education Center is located in the open space on the second floor of the Secondary school building (E2-2F), which is an imaginative and creative education center. It aims to provide a learning platform with an aerospace theme for students, expand their aerospace technology vision, popularize aerospace-themed education, stimulate students' enthusiasm for learning, promote patriotism, and lead students to understand, enter, and experience aerospace. During STEAM Month, we held a ceremony for the launch of the Aerospace Education Center. During the three-day visit and learning period, students listened to the achievements our country has made in the aerospace field, and a seed of patriotism and thirst for knowledge quietly took root and sprouted.

SGA科技节数学嘉年华

Math Carnival

在3月14日，SGA开展了丰富多彩的数学嘉年华活动（点击查看活动报道）来庆祝国际数学日（圆周率日），深圳教育也报道了我校国际圆周率日的活动。

在活动中，同学们以学院为单位，和不同的年级展开合作和竞赛，最后Black Tortoise学院拔得头筹。

On March 14th, the SGA conducted a rich and diverse range of mathematical activities to celebrate International Pi Day, and Shenzhen Education reported on our school's International Pi Day event.

During the event, students worked in teams and collaborated with different grade levels. In the end, Black Tortoise came out on top.

STEAM ASA Showcase

在SGA，我们有许多精彩的STEAM ASA第二课堂课程：VEX机器人、乐高机器人、编程、无人机、无人机摄影、摄影、数字媒体、动画、2D动画、航空俱乐部、零碳设计、校园电视台和日常生活中的技术等等。不一样的ASA，一样的精彩。

在为期三天的STEAM ASA展示活动中，来自各个STEAM主题ASA的同学们，倾尽全力准备了丰富多彩的活动和挑战，向全校的其他同学和老师介绍展示自己在这些领域所学到的知识和技能。同学们穿梭在各色STEAM ASA的活动与挑战中，乐此不疲。

VEX robotics， Lego robotics， Programming, Drones, Drone photography, Photography, Digital Media, Animation, 2D Animation, Aerospace Club, Zero Carbon Design, MCTV, and Tech in daily life， prepared many activities and challenges for visitors to try.

The students who came to visit the ASA Showcase were also full of energy to challenge themselves. The students shuttled through various STEAM ASA activities and challenges, and never tired of it.

SGA科技节编程一小时

Hour of Code

编程作为21世纪最重要的技能之一，已经成为现代社会中不可或缺的一部分。不仅仅限于专业程序员或计算机科学家，编程对于未来社会来说，很可能是每个人都该掌握的基础技能。而对于当下的社会来说，提升逻辑思维能力是编程训练带来的最大好处之一，这种思维方式可以帮助人们更好地解决问题和思考。

湾区学校的同学们也在科技节中积极参与了“编程一小时”活动，让我们看看他们的精彩成果吧！

Programming, as one of the most important skills of the 21st century, has become an indispensable part of modern society. Although many people believe that programming is only applicable to professional programmers or computer scientists, in reality, programming can benefit everyone. It develop logical thinking skills which can help people solve problems and think clearly.

To practice this kind of computational thinking, our students actively participated in the "Hour of Code" activity. The following students performed particularly well:

SGA科技节工程挑战

Engineering Challenge

如何用柔软的纸去建造最高的塔和最坚固的地基？在工程挑战中，同学们乐此不疲的和同伴一起挑战着自己。G2.3的黄宛芾Wonderful、谢瑞曼Raymond Xie、杜雨默Emily三位同学成功搭起了49cm的高塔，是1-2年级中最高的。G5.1冯依恬Lucy同学成功搭起了78cm高的纸塔，摘得PYP桂冠。

How to build the tallest tower and the strongest foundation using soft paper? In an engineering challenge, students enthusiastically challenge themselves with their peers, and in the activity, Wonderful Huang, Raymond Xie, and Emily Du from class 2.3 successfully built a tower that was 49cm tall, the tallest tower among the 1st and 2nd graders. Lucy Feng from class 5.1 built a 78cm paper tower and won the PYP championship.

Design Competition

艺术，也是STEAM科技节的亮点之一。通过今年的设计比赛，学生们有机会展示他们的创造力和设计能力。评委们也对学生的作品质量和创造力水平印象深刻。

在众多作品当中，评委们选出了明年科技节的Logo、贴纸、奖章和海报设计作品。G2.1李锦熙Jayden、G3.3沈雨檬Angela、G4.2王槐雅Yaya、G9.1麦希越Cynthia、G6.1李梓菲Alisa、G9.1郑嘉豪Jason，这些同学的设计作品将在作为明年科技节的标志出现在大家的视野中。

One of the highlights of STEAM Month was the Design Competition, where students had the opportunity to showcase their creativity and design skills. The judges were impressed with the quality of work and the level of creativity demonstrated by the students.

STEAM Riddles

跳出思维框架思考问题，让我们能够避免思考问题时受到惯性思维的限制。在科技节的谜题挑战中，同学们积极参与，认真思考，展示了自己作为湾区学子的机敏和智慧。

Thinking out of the box to solve problems is an admirable way of thinking that allows us to avoid being limited by inertial thinking. Our students actively participated in the puzzle challenge of the STEAM Month, thought carefully, and demonstrated their excellence as students in the Bay Area.

SGA科技节探访科技企业

Tech Enterprise Field Trip

作为科技节的压轴环节，我们还与深圳的两家全球顶尖科技企业——腾讯和大疆合作，为同学们提供了户外研学的机会。

即将迈入DP阶段的十年级同学，获得了参观了腾讯的机会。这次课外研学的主题结合了职业发展教育和科创领域认知拓展，让在职业规划的关键节点上的十年级同学们有机会深入了解了这家全球领先企业的业务概况和职业架构。

在探访中，同学们认识了腾讯公司在智能应用、腾讯云、人工智能、游戏和机器人领域等所取得的令人瞩目的成就，也了解了腾讯公司的职位构成，尤其是不同性格和专业的人，如何在不同的职业岗位上实现人生价值。

接触全球顶尖科技公司的业务架构及职业发展的机会相当难得，相信经过这次参观，十年级的同学们一定收获了不少关于未来职业选择的启示和指引。

另外，在三月科技节的各项挑战和比赛中取得优胜的中学部同学们，还将在本学期探访大疆，深入了解这家尖端技术公司的幕后，见证他们如何塑造人类社会的未来。

G10 students were given the opportunity to visit Tencent, a world-renowned company, and gain a comprehensive understanding of its operations and development. Through the visit, the students were able to witness Tencent's impressive accomplishments in various fields, including smart applications, Tencent Cloud, artificial intelligence, games, and robotics. They also learned about the diverse range of professions within Tencent, each requiring different personalities and specialties.

The visit allowed students to gain insight into possible careers and how their individual skills and interests could fit into the workforce. It is hoped that this experience will serve as a source of valuable guidance and inspiration for the students as they consider their future career paths.

We are excited to offer an exclusive visit to DJI for the top 30 MYP candidates in our various challenges and competitions. Selected students will venture behind the scenes of this cutting-edge technology company and see firsthand how they are shaping the future of robotics and drone technology.

在这个月的创新、创意和学习之旅中，我们的湾区学子在STEAM世界中尽情庆祝、挑战自我、收获成长。同学们展现出的创新和探究精神，闪耀在科技节的各个活动中，这是对过往探究学习中成长的总结，也应是对将来学习的启发。希望同学们保持这种创新和探究的劲头，继续点亮未来的创新之路！
