SGA Arts Festival
从五月到六月，深外湾区学校的师生们与歌声、绘画、舞蹈、戏剧为伴，共同经历了一段难忘的艺术之旅。在第二届艺术节落幕之际，让我们一起回顾本次活动中的精彩瞬间吧。
During May and June, SGA community members were involved in an artistic journey filled with music, exhibition, dance, and drama. As we reach the end of the 2nd Annual Arts Festival, let's take some time to look back at those spectacular moments.
小学部艺术展
Primary School Art Exhibition
小学部艺术展于6月12日正式拉开帷幕。当天，深外湾区学校执行校长刘佳和外方校长Mr. Tom Kline到场致开幕辞，对艺术展的顺利举办表示祝贺。
The Primary School Art Exhibition was grandly opened on June 12th. Our School Director, Ms. Luka Liu and Head of School, Mr. Tom Kline, were present to deliver the opening speech and congratulate the successful launch of the art exhibition.
艺术节期间，小学部的同学们利用美术课堂时间，在老师的指导下，认真构思、大胆想象、合作探究，完成了一件件特别的作品。这些绚丽多彩的画作、创意十足的手工艺品和富有想象力的装置艺术，组成了这次令人赞叹不已的小学部艺术展。
结合PYP跨学科单元学习的主题，四年级的同学们以街头艺术家班克西的作品为灵感，利用厚卡纸和绘画工具，绘制了街头涂鸦风格的作品，以此来表达他们对全球变暖、世界冲突、安全等议题的关心。五年级的同学们则运用回收材料，制作了工厂模型和动物模型，展现了他们对环境保护和可持续发展问题的思考。
通过艺术创作，同学们展示了创意和艺术才华，培养了想象力、观察力和表达能力，同时也加深了对环境保护和世界议题的认知。
During the Arts Festival, the Primary School students participated in art class and art workshops, where they passionately worked on creative projects. These artworks, including paintings, handicrafts, and installation art, were displayed in the exhibition.
G4 student were inspired by famous street artist Banksy and explored his murals and hidden message behind symbols and signs. Using thick paper, art tools and craftsmanship, students make stencils to express their deepest wishes and fears. They were concerned about global warming, world conflicts and focused on using similar style to raise awareness about safety. Students painted on "brick wall" that was later cut to resemble real wall in outskirts of Bristol and London, UK.
G5 students used recycled materials and craftsmanship to tell a story about problems caused by Fast Fashion Industry. They were concerned about animal cruelty, wanted to show their awareness about water pollution and all side effects that this industry is causing in our oceans and life beneath surface. Students used acrylic paint, used cardboards, plexiglass, glue, sticks, clay and various pieces of trash and sand to make models of factories, skinned animals and "Cup of Life".
中学部戏剧展演
Secondary School Drama Show
湾区学校首届戏剧展演，是本次艺术节的主要活动之一。演出筹备过程凝结了中学部同学和艺术组老师们三个月的心血。从试镜到熟悉角色，从剧本解读到记忆台词，从舞台布置到控制室里的调控……大家抓紧利用课后和周末时间进行排演，以一丝不苟的态度，精心打磨每一个环节，努力将经典剧目栩栩如生地呈现给观众。
当大幕拉开，四部经典剧目《红楼梦》《李尔王》《威尼斯商人》《哈姆雷特》逐一在舞台上演。红楼梦中的古典意趣、李尔王的苦涩命运、威尼斯商人的智谋斗争，以及哈姆雷特的挣扎与抉择，每个剧目都引人入胜。来自中学部的四十多位小演员们以精湛的表演技巧和准确的情感传达，娓娓诉说着角色的内心独白，勾勒出一个个独特的人物形象。在这些戏剧选段中，同学们学着以创造性的方式表达想法，在角色扮演中理解他人的感受，成长为更好的自己。
The Drama Show was a major event of the Arts Festival. It took three months of hard work of the Secondary School students and the art teachers. From auditions, script interpretation, to getting familiar with their roles and memorizing lines, everyone strived to bring the classic plays to life for the audience.
"The Dream of Red Mansion", "King Lear", "The Merchant of Venice", and "Hamlet", four classic plays were performed on the stage. More than forty actors from the Secondary School brought the characters to life with their superb acting skills and precise emotional expressions.
晨间午间音乐会
Mini Concert
除了艺术展览和戏剧作品，各项音乐活动也在湾区校园内展开。一连三天早上，小学部的同学们迎着朝阳，全情投入地参与到晨间音乐会中。小学合唱校队精彩的合唱节目《邻居家的豆豆龙》、民乐团的古典乐器齐奏，以及爵士舞社团、古典舞社团的舞蹈表演，都展示了同学们在课后课程中的排练成果。
G1.3、G2.2、G3.1和G3.2的同学们带来了班级集体合唱和乐器演奏。G5.2车致远同学的钢琴独奏，G4.1陈奕辰和G4.3杜嘉森的四手联弹演奏扣人心弦。
Students of the Primary School enthusiastically participated in Morning Mini Concert. The event featured performances by the Primary School Choir, the Chinese Instrument ASA, as well as the Jazz ASA and Chinese Dance ASA.
Students from G1.3, G2.2, G3.1, and G3.2, showed their talents through choir singing and instrumental performances. The piano solo by Arron from G5.2, as well as the captivating piano duet by Eason from G4.1 and Kingsley from G4.3, left a lasting impression on the audience.
中学部同学们的才艺演出在午间进行，马林巴琴、扬琴、古筝、伦巴和恰恰舞……同学们独特的才艺和舞台表现力令人赞叹连连。
The Secondary School held Lunchtime Performances, featuring instruments such as marimba, yangqin, guzheng, and lively dances like rumba and cha-cha. The students' talents and exceptional skills were truly impressive.
至此，深外湾区学校第二届艺术节圆满落幕，感谢所有参与者的辛勤付出和支持。让我们携手期待下一次艺术盛会，为更多美妙的创意和才艺欢呼！
