开学典礼

Opening Ceremony

同学们到校后，全体师生随即集中到学校大剧院参加第二学期开学典礼。在庄严肃穆的升旗仪式后，湾区学校执行校长刘佳校长为本学期的正式开启致辞。一年之计在于春，恰逢立春时节，刘校长寄语SGA全体同学在新的一年，夯实基础知识，永葆“闯”的劲头和“创”的精神。

刘佳校长从春节档热映的科幻电影《流浪地球2》谈到地球与社会，从时下具有深度学习能力的人工智能聊到人类与生命，所有探讨都围绕着一个焦点，就是“创新”二字。

太空电梯、机械骨骼、数字生命......科幻电影里的科技，有的离我们还比较遥远，有的已然出现在我们的生活之中。爱因斯坦曾说，如果没有科学与创新，就不会有把人从生产生活必需品的苦役中解放出来的机器。IB培养者目标中很重要的一则便是创新，不但是为了应对这个不断快速变化的时代，也是为了创造人类更美好的未来。

刘校长鼓励大家不断创新，在探究中创新，在思考中创新，成为更优秀的、兼具民族情怀和国际视野的创新型人才，用科技改变、服务、便捷生活。

SGA社区是一个不断鼓励大家创新的社区。3月，今年的SGA科技创新节也即将拉开帷幕。希望湾区学校社区的全体师生、家长，可以从一个小的发明创造开始，秉持科学精神，勇攀创造高峰！

In the morning of February 6, we held the Semester Opening Ceremony in our Grand Theater. After the flag-raising ceremony, our School Director, Ms. Luka Liu, delivered the opening speech.

Ms. Liu mentioned about the blockbuster Sci-Fi movie during CNY, which our students should get innovation from, as an IB learner. To become a creative thinker and innovator, we should keep building a solid foundational knowledge, keep our enthusiasm and creative spirit.

The upcoming March is our STEAM Month. Ms. Liu hopes everyone in SGA community could start from a small change or creation, uphold the scientific spirit and bravely climb to the peak of creation.

强调创新之余，劳动教育也是湾区学校全人教育的重要一环。在刚刚结束的春节假期里，湾区学校的同学们积极完成了“勤劳能干的劳动兔”寒假劳动比拼，完成校学生处为各年级列出的劳动参考清单上的实践任务。校学生处负责人刘玲玲老师总结了各个学院同学们的精彩表现，并宣布了获得积分最高的获胜学院——Blue Dragon学院。

During the opening ceremony, we also announced the winning house of the "An industrious and capable house" competition. SGA students have been enthusiastically doing chores during the holiday, and Blue Dragon is the house which have the highest score. Congratulations!
