SGA艺术馆开幕&首届艺术展

SGA Inaugural Art Exhibition 2022

5月6日，承载着湾区学子艺术之光的艺术馆正式开馆。此次艺术馆开馆仪式亦是湾区学校首届艺术展开幕仪式,共展出近200件学生作品及30余件教师作品。作品形式融汇东西方各色美术形式，体现湾区学校多元融合之办学特色，主题也与IB课程框架紧密结合，展现湾区学子在探究学习中的成长和习得。

因应校园疫情防控工作要求，学校在五月的前两周按班级、年级分批组织了师生前往艺术馆观展，同时分学段举行了开幕仪式。

We are so excited to open our art gallery to our community! After careful construction by the school, on May 6th, our art gallery carried the light of SGA students’ artwork was officially opened. The opening ceremony of the art gallery was also the opening ceremony of the first art exhibition of SGA. Nearly 200 students’ works and 30 teachers’ works were exhibited in the art gallery.

校园有了艺术，就有了灵动的精神灵魂。深圳外国语学校（集团）湾区学校在建校初期的设计阶段，就早早规划了座落在校园中轴线核心区的艺术馆。艺术馆的吊顶以深外（集团）校徽的帆船为灵感，设计成船骨造型，意在鼓励同学们热爱艺术、修习艺术、理解艺术，成为全面发展的未来型人才，扬帆启航，走得更高、更远。

Our art gallery features a ship structure at the entrance of the building was designed at the very beginning of the establishment of SGA. It is intended to encourage students, show their artistic talents, deepen their understanding, and their love of art, and cultivate the ability of teachers and students to feel and appreciate art. We hope that students can sail away and venture out into the world.

深圳外国语学校（集团）湾区学校执行校长刘佳在致辞中说，艺术馆开馆运行后，必将成为湾区学校文化的新亮点，艺术的新名片，必将进一步培育和彰显湾区学子的人文特色。

“After the opening and operation of the art gallery, it will surely become a new beacon of SGA culture and highlight our creativity. It will further cultivate and highlight the humanistic characteristics of SGA students and enhance the popularity and reputation of SGA” said Luka Liu, School Director of Shenzhen Foreign Languages GBA Academy. "We will make every effort to build a platform and strive to build the art gallery of SGA into an art oxygen tank for campus culture and an artistic highland for exquisite works." This will be an excellent place to reflect the inclusive, East-West integration of SGA."

展出作品中，一条由废旧纸板和旧衣物制作而成的“受伤的鲸鱼”频频让参观者驻足观看，引发热议。这是五年级“时尚”单元的作品之一，同学们表达了对海洋生物生存状况的担忧，呼吁社会的关注和重视。学生代表徐慕涵在演讲中详细阐释了他们从设计、生产、消费到海洋生态保护这些不同角度对“时尚”的思考。

Among the works on display, a "wounded whale" made of waste cardboard and old clothes frequently made visitors stop and watch, sparking heated discussion. It was one of the works in Grade 5, the "Fashion" unit, which expressed concerns about the living conditions of marine life and hoped to attract attention. In her speech, Sophia Xu, a student representative, explained in detail their thinking on "Fashion" from different perspectives, such as design, production, consumption, and marine ecological protection.

开幕式上，执行校长刘佳、学术校长Mark McCallum、艺术教师Nemanja Jovanovic与学生代表余铭恩、方子义一起创作了作品“艺”。作品使用商代毛公鼎的铭文“艺”，巧妙暗含了“ART” 三个字母。古老的中国文字和英语字母的结合是这件作品的立意所在。

At the end of the opening ceremony, Executive Principal Luka Liu, Academic Principal Mark McCallum, Art Teacher Nemanja Jovanovic, and students Rebecca Yu and Eric Fang created the work "Art". The work uses the Shang Dynasty Mao Gongding's inscription "Art", which cleverly implies the three letters of "ART". The combination of ancient Chinese characters with the English alphabet is the intention of this work representing the inclusive East-West integration of SGA!

作为多元融合的先行示范校，我校将继续强化基础学科、综合素养、职业前沿三大课程板块建设，为同学们提供优质、全面、适应未来社会的融合课程。也期待湾区学子们在未来也能不断提高艺术造诣，全面综合发展，延续在艺术领域的精彩表现。
