粗缯大布裹生涯，腹有诗书气自华。深圳的初秋午后，七年级的同学们在中学部图书馆举办了本学年首次读书会。

On an early autumn afternoon in SGA, Grade 7 students held the first reading seminar of this school year in MYP library.

本次读书会的主题是“消除与经典的隔膜”，同学们共读的作品是鲁迅先生的经典作品《朝花夕拾》，该书由10篇回忆性散文组成，反映了鲁迅青少年时期的生活。在开学第一个月，同学们已经完成了对整本书的阅读。同为正值风华的青少年，七年级的同学们通过读《朝花夕拾》跨越时空，和百年前的小鲁迅进行了一次神交。

The theme of the reading seminar is "eliminate the diaphragm with classics". The reading book is Lu Xun's "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk", composed of 10 recall proses, reflecting Lu Xun's teenage life. In the first month of the school year, G7 students have completed the reading of the whole book. As the young generation, G7 students communicate with Lu Xun across the boundaries of time and space by reading.

此次读书会邀请了中学部的吴祎老师、汪宁宁老师及田润娜老师还有小学部的张一诺老师作为评委。同学们以小组形式参与读书会，通过小组展台、《朝花夕拾》封面设计图、知识抢答赛、知识问答赛等形式角逐读书会最佳读书小组（一组）及读书之星（四名）。

We invited MYP Chinese teacher Ms Wu Yi, Ms Wang Ningning and Ms Tian Runna, and PYP teacher Ms Zhang Yinuo as the judge for the seminar. students were divided into four groups and planed their group exhibition. The activities also included book cover design, reading and knowledge competition. Students took part in the seminar actively and tried to be the best reading group and competed for “the star of reading”.

读书会共分为三大部分，第一部分由老师问答作者相关知识，同学们踊跃回答，活泼又紧张的氛围和欢声笑语从图书馆明亮的窗子传向外面的世界。

第二部分由各个小组分别负责，共同举办了《朝花夕拾》展览会。其中共有四个展台，分别是《朝花夕拾》美食展台、《朝花夕拾》动物及游戏展台、《朝花夕拾》人物展台和《朝花夕拾》地点展台。同学们或以制作手抄报的形式收集了书中所有的美食、游戏动物及地点，或以电子幻灯片的形式将书中人物向大家讲解并生动地展示出来。游走在各个展台间，我们收获颇丰。

第一组的同学们在展台向我们展示了鲁迅笔下的江浙美食，根据鲁迅的书中的描述画成的“茭白”栩栩如生，让身处岭南的大家垂涎欲滴，心之向往；第二组同学的展台带我们了解了鲁迅喜爱的隐鼠……或是曾年幼的文豪中意的雪天游戏时光等等；第三组的同学们带我们认识了书中那些鲜活的人物，他们曾在鲁迅的青年时光里熠熠闪光，给他留下了难以磨灭的印象，成为后来艰难困苦之时的一剂良药；第四组同学们用手绘地图的方式带大家了解了鲁迅年轻时的足迹，从私塾到学堂，从中国绍兴到日本仙台，我们更真切地了解到一代文豪“横眉冷对千夫指，俯首甘为孺子牛”之写照的形成。

There were three parts of the reading seminar. In the first part, the teacher asked questions about the author's relevant knowledge, and the students answered enthusiastically. The lively and tense atmosphere and laughter spread across the library. The second part, each group is responsible for an exhibition. There were "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" food exhibition, "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" animal and game exhibition, "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" character exhibition and "Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk" location exhibition. Students made posters of the food, animals and games, and places in the book. Also, they introduced the characters in the book. The students of the first group showed us the delicious food of Province Jiangsu in Lu Xun's writing in the exhibition. Among them, the " Zizania aquatica" painted by students according to the description of Lu Xun's book was vivid, which made everyone salivate with longing. The second group of students' exhibition took us to know about Lu Xun's favorite little mouse, his favorite snow game and so on. The students in the third group took us to know those vivid characters in the book. They were shining in Lu Xun's youth, leaving an indelible impression on him, and becoming a good medicine in the difficult times for Luxun; Fourth, students learned about Lu Xun's footprint when he was young by hand drawing maps. From Shaoxing, China, to Sendai, Japan, we learned more about the formation of the portrayal of a generation of literary giants who “To a thousand pointing fingers I defy with fierce brows, and to youngerlings I'd be fain to bow and serve as an ox".

第三部分是热火朝天的《朝花夕拾》知识竞赛，同学们摩拳擦掌，跃跃欲试，除了要绞尽脑汁翻遍《朝花夕拾》来答题，还要辛苦练习按抢答器的技巧，在这个过程中同学们也锻炼了小组合作的技能。让我们看看同学们是怎么说的：

The third part is the knowledge contest of Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk. The students are eager to try. In addition to trying their best to turn over Dawn Blossoms Plucked at Dusk to answer the questions, they also must work hard to practice the skills of pressing the answering machine. 从读《朝花夕拾》中我了解到了鲁迅在创作时的处境和创作的背景。在《朝花夕拾》的读书会中，我非常感谢我们的组长侯周成同学，他除了在晚自习中帮助我们完成书中食物的绘图外，还把海报带回了宿舍和其他成员继续努力加班加点，才完成了我们组如此美丽的《朝花夕拾》美食鉴赏图。我还要感谢的是我们小组的任泽远同学和李广睿同学，他们跟侯周成同学一起在宿舍努力完成海报。另外还要感谢罗曼同学、李晓萌同学、郑嘉恩同学、王若钦同学，无论是在海报的制作中还是在《朝花夕拾》读书会的抢答环节中他们都做出了很多的贡献。虽然在《朝花夕拾》读书会中我只回答了一两个问题，但是我学到了这是一个团体合作的活动，如果没有我的组员们做出的巨大贡献，我也不会收获了那么多。

通过这次阅读会，我知道了组长和组员团结在一起答题的重要性。虽然这次并没有取得很好的成绩，但是组长带领着组员也在认真地分析每一道题。而且通过没有回答上来的问题，我们也对《朝花夕拾》有了更好更深地了解和查缺补漏。我们从各个方面对鲁迅和《朝花夕拾》进行了提问和抢答，同时也有很多团队合作，并且可以深刻地体会到学语文的趣味性！

从这次《朝花夕拾》的读书会中，我觉得重要的不在于小组的输赢，不在于抢答的手速，而在于团队精神与合作，也是collaboration，ATL技能之一。比如在这次读书会的前一天晚上，大家无法线下见面，没办法做到面面俱到。不过还是由组长（我）分好了工，如哪些人搜索查询哪一部分，最后由我负责整理，把海报在读书会当天前完成了。之后在这次读书会上展示的时候，我感到的不是对展示成果的骄傲，而是对于昨天晚上，那次与组员们“浴血奋战”的自豪！

同时这次读书会也补充了我对《朝花夕拾》知识的欠缺，一些平常不会在意的问题都在这次答题活动和科普上被一一展开，让我对《朝花夕拾》的了解又上了一层，重新以一个新的视角审视鲁迅的作品。这次读书会不仅拓展了知识面，也锻炼了我们团队合作的能力。

最终由侯周成Jerry和李晓萌Jenny担任组长的第一组同学（罗曼Amy、 任泽远Ewan、郑嘉恩Janey、黄浩乔Candice、李广睿Rayson、王若钦 Roger）获得了本次读书会的第一名。侯周成Jerry，黄彦衡Partrick，张策Jason及何嘉怡Janice获得本次读书会的读书之星，让我们再次恭喜以上同学。

Finally, the first group (Amy Luo, Ewan Ren, Janey Zheng, Candice Huang, Rayson Li, Roger Wang), led by Jerry Hou and Jenny Li, won the first place in this reading seminar. Jerry Hou, Partrick Huang, Jason Zhang and Janice He won the reading star of this reading seminar. Let's congratulate the above students again.
