最佳外交奖&最佳组织奖！湾区学子哈佛模联展风采 Awards in HMUN China

8月15-18日，2024哈佛大学模拟联合国大会中国会在广州举行，我校共有14名同学参加本次模联大会。其中，G9.3廖东凭借在世界贸易组织委员会中的出色表现，荣获“最佳外交奖”，深外湾区学校荣获“最佳组织奖”。

哈佛大学模拟联合国大会中国会议是亚洲范围内学术水平及国际化程度最高的中学生模拟联合国会议之一。本届哈佛模联中国会共设置13个会议规模及专注领域不同的委员会，涉及国际安全、人道主义、自然环境、科学技术等国际热点问题。

我校学生代表在本次大会中，与来自全国的六百多名模联代表，在联合国议事框架下共同就国际议题进行磋商与辩论，充分展现了湾区学子的综合素养、全球视野和思辨能力。

14 of SGA students had the incredible opportunity to attend the 2024 of Harvard Model United Nations China from August 15-18. One of our delegates David Liao received special Diplomatic Commendation for his exemplary contributions during the discussions and negotiations within the WTO committee. SGA is awarded as Outstanding Organizer School. 

HMUN China is a four-day international relations simulation for high school students held annually in downtown Guangzhou. Hundreds of delegates and around 30 faculty advisors from around the world attend this conference to confront and debate issues of international importance. At HMUN China, delegates assume the roles of UN representatives and members of other decision-making bodies. This experience enables delegates to experience the challenges of diplomacy first-hand. HMUN is the longest-running simulation of its kind and carries a decades-old tradition of excellence.
